What do you think about DIY deodorant? It was the first thing I tried after my armpit detox😆. I love the versatility of choosing your own oils in this recipe! Be sure to pick oils that are soothing on the skin (not hot oils;) If you try it let us know what you think! -Rebecca McClelland

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place about 1 inch of water into a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer.

  • Place shea butter and coconut oil into the glass container, and place the container in the simmering water.

  • Stir until melted, then remove the glass jar from the water.

  • Add in baking soda and arrowroot powder, 1T at a time and stir continuously until all clumps are removed.

  • Add in vitamin E oil and essential oils.

  • Place your deodorant in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight to solidify. Upon removing, let stand at room temperature until it is no longer cold, then stir with a fork. Use daily -- a little does the trick!
