DIY Dryer Sheets

So many of us have a love for that fresh laundry scent that dryer sheets provide. Unfortunatley they are loaded with synthetic fragrance which isn't the best thing for our homes and bodies. Good news is these DIY dryer sheets are the perfect alternative to commercial dryer sheets. Bonus: You most likely already have everything you need & there is a cost savings too!

SUPPLIES

  • 16 ounce mason jar with a lid

  • spoon

  • 5 small cloths or fabric scraps (cut up diaper cloths work great)

INGREDIENTS

TO MAKE

Add the vinegar and essential oils to the mason jar and mix with a spoon

TO USE

  • Dip 1 cloth into the mixture in the mason jar

  • Wring out the cloth to remove excess liquid then toss into the dryer with wet clothes

  • The heat from the dryer will make the vinegar scent go away & your clothes will be scented with the essential oils

STORE

Keep the unused solution in a mason jar covered with a lid away from direct sunlight for up to 2 weeks.

Remix as needed and play around with different essential oils! Who has tried this?
