Intentional Reflection for 2019

So often we think about goals for the year ahead, but looking back on the previous year is a beautiful way to learn and reflect before going forward! As we look at what worked and didn't work, it's amazing how we can goal set for the coming year!

END OF YEAR RETREAT

I've been SO inspired by Lesley Williams Graham and how she and her family take an intentional retreat after the holidays. Here are some tips that she shared on how to do this:

  • Find a getaway spot - even if you don't leave your house, set some time aside where you give yourself fully to being intentional with this time.

  • Prep in advance with questions and your calendar so you can look back.

  • Include your family or those closest to you.

  • Take time to do a recap of the past year and list out everything big that happened in 2019.

  • Take some time for everyone to determine what they want more of in the coming year.

  • Include your kids! It's amazing what insight little ones can bring to this reflection!

  • Look for patterns and make some goals for the year ahead based on this.

SOME HELPFUL TIPS

The Oola lifestyle is one way you can look at all the areas of your life as you are reflecting back.

  • Oola focuses on seven areas: Faith, Family, Fun, Friends, Field, Fitness, Fun & Finance.

  • These are great way to look at all the areas of your life!

  • Young Living has created Oola inspired oils that go along with each area so you could pair what's in your diffuser as you discuss each area!
